Challenge
Our challenge is to create the tallest tower possible that is build from 25 hard spaghetti noodles and 5 hot glue sticks. The tower must be able to hold an egg for 30 seconds.
Brainstorm
We designed two different sketches and then came together and create the final sketch as a group of two people.
Build
First we started off making the base for the spaghetti tower. We decided to base the tower off of triangles since they are the strongest geometric shape in building. After building the base we too some spaghetti and broke it into equal pieces to create the sides. Then we made another level and then brought the three sides together in a large triangle.
Final Design
Once we thought we were done, we had to add extra support so the egg would not fall off. The tower held the egg for 30 seconds and was 17 and 1/2 inches tall and its weight was 25 grams.
